If you’re a Maui resident, there are tons of resources coming in to help. Stop by the UH Maui College at 310 W Kaahumanu Ave, Kahului, HI 96732 where they have staff who can help you navigate all the available options and help you with the process of applying for disaster aid. Here’s what you’ll need to get the most out of your visit to UHMC: social security number, annual household income, insurance documentation, bank account info, cost to rebuild your home and estimated value of possessions lost. To estimate your home rebuilding cost, multiply the square footage by $500 per sq. ft.
